Dr Muller completed his medical training at the University of South Carolina School of Medicine and General Surgery Residency at the Orlando Regional Medical Center in Florida. He also received training as a Fellow in Colon and Rectal Surgery at the Orlando Regional Medical Center. Dr Muller has published and presented various articles on surgical problems. In June of 2006 Dr Muller performed what is believed to be the first TEM (transanal endoscopic microsurgery) in Indiana. TEM is a minimally invasive colorectal surgery that does not involve any incisions on the outside of the body. The purpose is to remove early cancers and pre-cancerous growths located deep inside the rectum or lower colon.
