One of the nation's leading specialists in colorectal care, Rama M. Jager, M.D., Ph.D., F.A.C.S. has lead the way in diagnosis and treatment of hemorrhoids, polyps, ulcerative colitis, colon cancer, stomach ulcers, etc. His expertise in using lasers and laparoscopic procedures offers patients treatment that returns them to their normal life styles more quickly.

After graduating from medical school, Dr. Jager completed a seven-year surgical residency program at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis. He was also awarded a doctoral degree from this university for his original work in cancer research. His interest in colon and rectal care took him to the University of Texas, Houston, for specialized surgical training and in 1978 he established practice in Indianapolis.

Dr. Jager is currently celebrating over 30 years of serving the Indianapolis community and central Indiana.

Dr. Jager is certified by the American Board of Colon and Rectal Surgeons, The American Board of Surgery and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
